My name is James Murfin, and I run Mural and SMBLive operations in Europe, from our offices just outside London.
Like many of the team that built CloudProfile, I'm healthily obsessed by the idea that small businesses can do amazing things with a smart blend of the 'right' technology and their own individual and unique style. I've spent 100% of my time at Mural working with companies ranging from the largest global telecommunications providers (like BT, Vodafone, Teliasonera and Orange) to small IT resellers and agencies to convince them to build and launch online services that 'just work' for small businesses.
I honed some of my skills doing a similar thing at Microsoft before joining the Mural and SMBLive teams; working with online application and service providers to build and market hosted services. I live just outside London in the UK, but I've never let my geographic location stop me from working for US-led companies, having worked for both IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers before Microsoft and Mural. When not helping to build and grow channels and businesses in Europe, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two daughters, two chickens, dog and horse!
